Close proximity to the races made this place a solid choice for a weekend getaway. The breakfast spread features a continental table with croissants and cereals, which adds a nice touch.

The experience can vary greatly depending on noise levels. if you're in a room facing the front on a Saturday, the DJ's music might keep you up past midnight. Ventilation could be an issue too, as some windows feel sealed, leaving the rooms hot and stuffy on warmer days. The overall decor and upkeep seem outdated, with creaky floors and peeling paint, not exactly the luxury vibe one might expect.

    Good for a quick stay

Checked in late and found the room near the bar was kinda loud with squeaky floors. The overall vibe felt outdated, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Conveniently located with a nice outdoor area to chill. Just a tad disappointed since I expected a bit more from the photos. You get what you pay for, I guess.

    comfy rooms
    friendly staff
    noisy surroundings

Had a blast with my friends! We enjoyed visiting the nearby racetrack and local market. Rooms were comfy, and staff were very friendly. Just a heads up, parking can get busy on weekends.

It was really noisy outside, especially from the A14 traffic. That made it tough to get a good night's sleep.

A Convenient Spot with Room for Improvement

Comfortable stay with a decent breakfast selection. The room had a quaint charm, though it could use some modern touches. Be prepared for noise from the road if you prefer quieter nights. Ideal for racegoers, but make sure to request a room away from the bar area to avoid late-night disturbances.

    convenient location
    noise disturbance
    dated room
    limited beverage options

The location offers easy access to local attractions and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the noise from the high street was disruptive at night due to heavy traffic, making it challenging to sleep. The room itself felt dated and lacked a shaver socket, which added to the discomfort.

    great location
    cozy garden pub
    outdated rooms

The location is just perfect for exploring the charming town with my teenage kids. We had fun visiting the local area and enjoying the garden pub, which was quite a cozy spot.

In my wife’s opinion, the rooms could be fresher. A bit of an update would make it more comfortable for families.

    Couples seeking a decent stay

The staff were super friendly, allowed me to check in early, and even stored my bags while I headed out. The shower was fantastic, hot and strong, really helped after a long day.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable.

The room was decent, though the bathroom could use some

updating and the lighting was quite poor. I appreciated the cleanliness and the comfortable bed, but navigating the hotel was a bit confusing due to the maze-like layout. The staff were very attentive and made us feel welcome during our stay.
